Founding

With roots in the Insurance industry, founding partners, Ralph S. Heath (left) and Fredric G. Schneider (right) register their firm as an Investment Advisor, allowing them to carry out their investment strategy for their clients.

Expansion & Incorporation

The firm brings aboard two additional partners and incorporates as Heath, Schneider, Mueller & Toll Co., Inc.

Launch of ADTEK Fund

HSM&T launches the ADTEK (Advisers Technical) Fund as an investment vehicle to support their investment strategy. Initial fund assets exceed $4 million.

Transition

Founding partner, Ralph S. Heath retires as President of HSM&T with Lauren E. Toll taking over as President

Firm Renamed

With the retirement of the other partners Lauren Toll becomes sole owner of HSM&T and changes the name to Charter Capital Management, Inc. (CCM).

ADTEK Fund Renamed

The ADTK Fund changes its name to Charter Capital Blue Chip Growth Fund with a change to its investment objective. The fund later closes in 1996 to allow CCM to concentrate on wealth management for individual clients.

Joel Hassler

Joel Hassler is hired as an Investment Analyst for CCM.

401(k) Advisor

As pension plans shift to 401(k) plans, CCM assists its clients in the transition and begins to serve as Advisor for the 401(k) plans.

Daniel Glaser

Daniel Glaser, CPA, is brought on as an investment advisor representative of CCM to service investment clients while also continuing to provide tax services to his clients.

Joel Hassler is named President of CCM.

A Second Transition

 With Lauren Toll's retirement, the firm's second ownership transition occurs with Joel Hassler and Daniel Glaser partnering as the new principals of CCM.

Rebranding

Charter Capital Management freshens its image with an updated logo and website.

Having outgrown its offices, CCM moves into a larger, more convenient space to facilitate continued future growth.

Charter Capital Management merges with accounting firm, Daniel R. Glaser, CPA, SC, facilitating the holistic financial and tax planning services CCM provides in-house.
